Welcome!

I’m Katie. I live in New York City [Gramercy Park neighborhood] with my husband Russel and our two children Rose and Luther. I am a trained visual artist out of New York University but have also spent time studying at the Kansas City Arts Institute and for the past decade have studied on and off at the Art Students League of New York.

My current and primary focus is oil painting, but I have extensive experience in the photo and video industry. I have around 8 years of experience shooting photographs and videos for weddings. I was an assistant photographer for epagafoto out of Kansas City for many years and adore them!

For my day job I am an Early Childhood Educator in the Reggio Emilia approach. I adore children but love to make time and space for my artistic endeavors.

I openly take commissions involving painting, video, or photography. Please contact me with any questions you may have, I would absolutely love to make a project come to life together.
